The cells were collected into a centrifuge tube. 5∗105 cells were dissolved in 100 μL extraction solution. After sonication for 30 min on ice, the extraction solution was centrifuged at 10,000g for 10 min to collect supernatant. The supernatant was placed on ice to be tested. Acetyl-CoA levels were measured using an Acetyl Coenzyme A Content Assay Kit (BOXBIO, AKFA019U-2, China) following the manufacturer's protocol.
