The scale of WB-FACES was applied to evaluate the severity of pain in children based on their self-reports. The scale ranged from 0 to 10. It consisted of six different illustrated faces, demonstrating different emotions, from 0, very happy, no pain to 10, which hurts way worse (crying) [28].
