10 ml of blood was drawn from a peripheral vein in selected patients with a sterilized disposable syringe and was collected in a pre-sterilized borosilicate test tube without any addition of the anticoagulant. Blood was then immediately centrifuged at 2700 rpm for 12 minutes in a centrifuge unit. PRF was then separated from the red blood corpuscles base with the help of sterilized tweezers and scissors and was then transferred onto a sterile Dappen Dish.
