LPS- and OGD-treated cells were washed with PBS and stained with 5 μM 2′,7′-dichlorofluorescin diacetate (DCFH-DA; Sigma-Aldrich) for 20 min at 37°C to detect cell reactive oxygen species (ROS). After staining, cells were washed three times with PBS, and were detached with trypsin for flow cytometry, DCF fluorescence was detected at λex of 488 nm and λem of 525 nm.
