The antibodies used in Western blot were pThr58-Myc (Santa Cruz Biotechnology, Dallas, Texas, sc-135647), pS62-Myc (Abcam), ERCC3 (A301-337A, Bethyl Laboratories, Montgomery, TX); antibodies to MYC (#5605), Rpb1-CTD (#2629), pSer2-CTD of Rpb1 (#8798), pSer2-CTD of Rpb1 (#8807), β-actin (#4967) and α-tubulin (#2125) were purchased from Cell Signaling Technology, Danvers, MA. Triptolide was purchased from Cayman Chemical (Ann Arbor, MI) and dissolved in DMSO as 1 mM stock. Chemotherapy drugs were purchased from the Fox Chase Cancer Center pharmacy.
