AIP56 or AIP56H231K/E234K (5.36 μM) were incubated with Proteinase K (8.65 nM) on ice in 20 mM Tris pH 8.0, 200 mM NaCl or 20 mM Bis-Tris pH 6.5 or pH 5.0 with 200 mM NaCl. Aliquots were removed at different incubation times and the reaction stopped by adding SDS-PAGE sample buffer followed by heating at 95 °C for 5 min. Digests were analyzed by SDS-PAGE.
