Oba, a limonoid (Mw. 454.51) with identified inhibitory effect to MIF, was administrated once EAP model established. Briefly, Oba was dissolved into 0.5 % methylcellulose and daily gavaged for continuative 7 days (10, 25, 50 mg/kg/day, 200 μL each time). The same volume of 0.5 % methylcellulose was used in the vehicle control group. ISO-1, a known MIF inhibitor, was administrated through intraperitoneal injection for continuative 7 days once EAP model established (5, 10, 20 mg/kg/day, 200 μL each time). The same volume of 5 % DMSO was used for vehicle control.
