C57BL/6, B6.SJL-Ptprca/Boy (CD45.1), B6.129P2-Tcrbtm1Mom Tcrdtm1Mom/J, and B6.Cg-MiR-155tm1.1Rsky/J mice were purchased from the Jackson Laboratory. P25 TCR Tg mice have been described previously (20). All mice were housed and bred under specific pathogen–free conditions at the Institute for Systems Biology and the Center for Infectious Disease Research. All experimental protocols involving animals were approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee of Seattle Biomed.
