Study was started after obtaining the Ethics committee permission (BVDUMC/3059/2022/003/0027). Sample of the root extract was provided by the sponsor. Samples was stored away from the sunlight and moisture in a dry place. Sub-acute toxicity study was carried out as per modified OECD-407guidelines [21], [22].
