The three executive function subfunction tasks (Stop signal,29 Wisconsin card sorting,30 and Corsi block tapping31) were used as interventions. The participants needed to sequentially complete sets of these cognitive tasks on a computer during the intervention. The tasks were designed to gradually increase the difficulty based on the subjects’ performances by controlling the appearance and disappearance times of the task conditions.
