CTCE peptide (KGVSLSYRK(GGC)RYSLSVGK) which was adapted from CTCE-9908 with cysteine on its side-chain, and its scrambled sequence (LSYVKGRSK(GGC)SRGKVYSL) were synthesized by Top-Peptide Biotech (Shanghai, China) by solid phase, purified by High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) (Shimadzu, LC-20AT, Kyoto, Japan) and characterized by MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry (Bruker, Autoflex MAX, Billerica, MA, USA).
