PC-3 cells (2×104 cells/well) were seeded in the 6-well plates. After 24 h, cells were incubated with DOX or PDA-DOX for 4 h and then fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde for 15 min. Thereafter, the cells were washed with PBS and stained with DAPI. The stained cells were observed under a fluorescence microscope (IX83, Olympus, Japan).
