Of New Mexico’s nearly one million Latinx residents, most are of Mexican ancestry (62%) [61]. In Albuquerque, 47% of the population is Latinx. In New Mexico, 18.9% of Latinxs live in households below the FPL and 12.4% of Latinxs have diabetes.
