THP-1 and MDA-MB 231 were purchased from KCLB (Korea Cell Line Bank, Korea). THP-1 cells were cultured in RPMI1640 (Welgin, Korea; FBS 10%, penicillin 1%) and MDA-MB 231 cells were cultured in DMEM high glucose (Welgin, Korea; FBS 10%, penicillin 1%). THP-1 cells were passaged to a cell density of 1 × 105 cells/ml.
