For histopathology analysis, brain, heart, liver, kidney and muscle tissues were fixed by paraformaldehyde and then were dehydrated, embedded in paraffin and cut into serial sections at 5 μm. Sections were stained with hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) solution and observed them under an optical microscope (DP73, OLUMPUS, Japan). The cell structure of each tissue in P57 treatment or vehicle was complete and normal with clear boundaries. No inflammatory cell aggregation, hyperplasia, chromatin concentration, nucleus fragmentation and other abnormal pathological changes were observed.
