The CNF dispersions were prepared at 0.05 wt% (w/v) in milli-Q, and the suspension was then analyzed using a UV Visible Spectrophotometer (Shimadzu, UV-2450, Japan) in the spectra of 800 − 400 nm. The polystyrene cuvettes used were degassed through a sonicator for 5 min before the analysis [8].
