This experiment made use of the ChIP Assay Kit (Beyotime, China). The experiments were carried out exactly as described in the instructions. To summarize, formaldehyde was used first to cross-link the target protein and the corresponding genomic DNA, followed by antibodies against MYC and unrelated antibodies as negative controls. Then the immunoprecipitated DNA was extracted and purified by qPCR.
