The soybean dataset included 1242 records collected between 2000 and 2018, except for 2012 and 2013. Relative incidence was calculated as in bean; 96 geographic points were generated for the analysis of the climate-disease relationship (Figure 1). The climatic variables were obtained for the period between mid-September and mid-March. Pre-planting winter months were also considered, with a period of 10 days to summarize the climate data. These variables were then expressed in months; the climatic variables were also obtained every 15 days for September, October, and November.
