The CRC screening programme in our region was cancelled on 13 March 2020 and was reinstated on 11 May 2020. First, patients with a positive faecal immunochemical test result who could not undergo a colonoscopy because of the pandemic were called for endoscopic evaluation. Then, from 28 May 2020, new appointments were arranged to continue the CRC screening programme with faecal immunochemical tests.21

Since January 2020 Elsevier has created a COVID-19 resource centre with free information in English and Mandarin on the novel coronavirus COVID-19.
