Overexpression and RNAi-mediated gene knockdown

To overexpress TDP-43 truncations or Hsrω, or knockdown TBPH in ISCs and EBs, three or four male UAS-TDP-43, UAS-Hsrω^EP93D, or UAS-TBPH^RNAi were crossed with six to eight female virgins of esg^ts at 20°C. Three-day-old adult female progenies with the appropriate genotypes were transferred to 29°C for four days before dissection.
