2.4.1. Culture of Murine NIH 3T3 Fibroblasts

Murine NIH 3T3 fibroblasts were maintained in high glucose Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle’s Medium (DMEM) (Sigma-Aldrich), supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS) (Sigma-Aldrich) and 1% penicillin–streptomycin (pen/strep, 10,000 units penicillin/10 mg streptomycin from Sigma-Aldrich), in a 37 °C, 5% CO₂ humidified incubator. The medium was changed one day before the subculture, and the subculture was performed every two to three days.
