HT-22 cells were cultured at 37°C in 5% CO2 in Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium (DMEM; Gibco Inc., NY, USA) supplemented with 100 U/mL penicillin, 100 μg/mL streptomycin, and 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS; Gibco Inc., NY, USA). The MC-CDs were dissolved in deionized water and diluted with the cell culture medium to obtain the desired concentrations. The cells were seeded into 96-well plates at a density of 1×105 cells/well and incubated with 10% fetal bovine serum medium and different concentrations of MC-CDs. After incubation for 24 h, cell survival was determined using the CCK-8 method.48
