There was no missing data in the dataset. The data were summarized using descriptive statistics such as mean, standard deviation, frequency, and percentage. T-test and ANOVA were used to examine the correlation between participants characteristics and life satisfaction. The correlation between AFC, AAQ, and SWLS were examined by using Pearson correlation.
The proposed model was evaluated for its fitness using structural equation modeling. The model’s goodness of fit was evaluated through the maximum likelihood estimation method. The adjustment of the model was evaluated using the following model-fit indexes: root mean square error of approximation (RMSEA) ≤ 0.08 [39]; comparative fit index (CFI) ≥ 0.9, goodness of fit index (GFI), and Tucker-Lewis index (TLI) [40]. The modified model’s direct, indirect, and total effects were tested using the bootstrap method 2000 times within a 95% confidence interval. SPSS version 24 was used in descriptive, correlation, and multiple linear regression statistical procedures, while Amos version 23 was used to examine the mediating effect. A significant level of 5% was adopted.
