NAs were prepared by a dialysis procedure. Briefly, DTX, IND and polymer (PEG-s-PEIs, PEG-b-PEI or PEI) at different feeding ratios were dissolved in methanol. The polymer concentration was 10 mg/mL. Thus obtained solution was dialyzed against deionized water at 25 °C. The outer aqueous solution was exchanged every 2 h. After 24 h of dialysis, DTX/IND/polymer NAs were attained and collected for analysis without further treatment. The drug content in the lyophilized samples was quantified by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The drug loading content and entrapment efficiency were calculated according to the following equations:
