Data on physical activity time were gathered through participant responses to the Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ). The GPAQ has been previously validated to collect information related to work activity and recreational activities14. During face-to-face interviews, participants were asked to detail the frequency and duration of MPA and VPA during a typical week. The time of physical activity was calculated by summing both work and recreational activities.MPA was categorized into four levels (0 min/week, 0–150 min/week, 150–300 min/week, > 300 min/week) and sedentary activity time was categorized into three levels (< 6 h/day, 6–8 h/day, > 8 h/day).
