The study was reviewed and approved by the ethical committee board of the Technische Universität Dresden (decision number EK317082014). The indication for human genetic analysis was made by the Department of Angiology at the University Centre for Vascular Medicine. It was also confirmed by the cooperating practice for human genetics. STrengthening the Reporting of OBservational studies in Epidemiology (STROBE), the statement for the reporting of observational studies, has also been complied with [7].
