Sedentary time and physical activity levels were objectively measured with a wrist-worn accelerometer (ActiGraph GT3X+, Pensacola, FL) for 7 consecutive days. The accelerometers were initialized to store raw accelerations at a sampling frequency of 100 Hz.30 The raw accelerations were exported and converted to the “.csv” format using ActiLife, version 6.13.3. software (ActiGraph). The raw “.csv” files were then processed using the GGIR package (version 1.6–0; https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/GGIR/) in R (version 3.1.2, https://www.cran.r-project.org/). Sedentary time and physical activity (light, moderate, and vigorous) levels were estimated as reported elsewhere.31
