Tumor biopsy samples from CSCC patients in stage I, II, III/IV (10 samples of CSCC‐I, 21 samples of CSCC‐II, 18 samples of CSCC‐III/IV) and six normal human skin tissue samples were collected, then stored at −80°C for later analysis. Characteristics of normal controls and CSCC patients are described in Table 1. All procedures were approved by the Ethics Committee of the Affiliated Qingdao Municipal Hospital of Qingdao University. Written informed consent was obtained from each patient or volunteer.
