For the MTT assay, differentiated cells were incubated with 0.1–100 μM paclitaxel for 24 h in PC12 cells. A549 cells were incubated with 100 μM paclitaxel and either TJ24 or TJ68 for 24 h. After washing cells once with DMEM, they were incubated in 0.5 mg/mL MTT for 4 h, and then lysed in 500 μL DMSO. For each well, 200-μL supernatant was transferred to a 96-well plate, and absorbance at 570 nm measured using a microplate reader (TECAN InfiniteF50R) [8].
