AC16 cells were cultured in Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM/F12, Gibco) containing 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS, biological industrials (BI)) and 1% penicillin/streptomycin (BI). Cells were maintained in a humidified incubator under 5% CO2 at 37°C.
