The extracts from Beech, African rose and Agba wood were analysed as dry samples in an FTIR apparatus over a spectra wavelength of 4000 to 500 cm−1 at a resolution of 4 cm−1 and an interval of 1 cm−1 at room temperature according to the method of Lal et al. (2010).
