BDH ethosomes were prepared by the method described by Touitou et al with a slight modification.19 Briefly, the ethosomal suspension was prepared by dissolving PC and BDH in absolute alcohol using covered vessels under vigorous stirring at room temperature. PG was added, followed by water under constant mixing at 700 rpm. Mixing was continued for an extra 30 min. The system was maintained at 30°C during the preparation. The preparation was cooled at room temperature before sonication at 4°C for three cycles, 5 min each, and a 5 min rest between cycles.
