The 4T1 murine breast cancer cells and 3LL murine lung cancer cells were obtained from ATCC (Manassas, VA) and used within 20 passages. The cells were cultured in Minimum Essential Medium (MEM) supplemented with 10% FBS, 1% penicillin-streptomycin,1% GlutaMAX, 1% NEAA,1% MEM Vitamin, 1% sodium pyruvate at 37°C in a humidified atmosphere with 5% CO2.
