It is a general form of data representation in DNN. It has the form of FRC×H×W, wherein C, H and W are the size of the feature map and they denote channel, height and width respectively. For example, an input RGB image has the data size of 3×H×W, wherein the channel C is 3. For clarity, we denote the feature map in the tth layer as FtRCt×Ht×Wt, and we will adopt this notation throughout the paper.
