Statistical Analysis

Data was analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics software (version 20; IBM Corporation, Armonk, New York). Descriptive statistics, including means and standard deviations, were generated for demographic items and self-report measures. Normal distributions of the data were assessed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Data were analyzed using a paired t test and a Wilcoxon signed-rank test to evaluate changes in RTI and maximum LPR, respectively. Because there was no significant difference between left and right trials for any of the dependent variables, the data were averaged and the averaged values were analyzed and reported.^12,39 We set α at P ≤ .05.
