4.2. Cell Lines and Culture

The human GBM cell lines U251 and U87 were purchased from Shanghai Institute for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences (Shanghai, China) and grown in DMEM or MEM, respectively. The cells were cultured with 10% FBS, 100 U/mL of penicillin, and 100 µg/mL of streptomycin in a humidified atmosphere of 95% air and 5% CO₂ at 37 °C.
