To uncover putative driver genes towards the delta fate in Fig. 3d,e, we considered 12,987 genes that were expressed in at least ten cells. We computed correlation of total-count normalized, log-transformed gene expression values with the probability of becoming a delta cell. We restricted correlation computation to the Fev+ cluster, where we expected the fate decision towards delta to occur.
