All statistical analysis was performed using SPSS ver. 21 software (IBM Corp., Armonk, NY, USA). The χ2 test (Fisher's exact test) was used to compare categorical variables in univariate analysis. Categorical data are reported using percentages and continuous quantitative values are reported by mean ± standard deviation (SD). Two-way repeated measure analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to assess the efficacy of nutrition education program on lipid profile, weight and weist circumflex. P < 0.05 was considered as statistically significant.
