Cells (5 × 105 cells/well in 6-well plates) were pre-incubated with EtOAc fractions of P. nudicaule or P. rhoeas for 1 h and incubated with LPS (5 ng/mL) for 24 h. Analysis of PEG2 secretion using an ELISA kit for PGE2 (Biochem Inc., Farmingdale, NY, USA) was performed according to the manufacturer’s instructions and as described previously [28]. Data are presented as mean ± SEM from at least three independent experiments in triplicate.
