A total of 40 patients with PD who were treated in the neurology department of our hospital from January 2019 to March 2021 were enrolled in this study, including 19 males and 21 females with an average age of 66.7±7.5 years. The patients were divided into two groups (n=20 in each) according to their MoCA score, i.e., the normal cognitive function (PDN) and MCI (PD-MCI) groups, and 20 subjects whose gender, age, and cultural backgrounds matched those of the PD groups were enrolled as a control group (MoCA score ≥26 points).
The study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki (as revised in 2013) and was approved by the ethics committee of the First Affiliated Hospital of the Bengbu Medical College (No. 2020-181), and all study subjects signed an informed consent form.
