The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences, version 22.0, was utilized in the analyses. Continuous variables were expressed as means, standard deviations, medians, and min–max values, whereas categorical variables were expressed as frequencies and percentages. Chi-squared and Fisher's exact tests were conducted to compare two categorical variables; however, the differences between two independent samples' means or medians were compared using the Mann–Whitney U test or median test. Logistic regression analysis was employed to assess the relationships between two or more variables. p < 0.05 was considered statistically significant.
