For all cases, we defined pregnancy outcomes. We used the Dutch gestational age limit for termination of pregnancy (24 weeks) in the definitions of foetal, neonatal and perinatal mortality (see Table 1). In addition, we categorised foetal mortality according to whether death occurred by elective TOPFA or spontaneously. Induced delivery after foetal demise was categorised as spontaneous foetal death.
