Statistical analysis was performed using IBM SPSS statistics V.25.0. Single repeated parameters were tested with a paired sample t-test. The dose- or time-dependent effects on AF properties and pacing cycle length dependent effects on CV were tested with a linear mixed-effects model using a diagonal covariance structure with atrium, cumulative dose, and cycle length considered as fixed variables and animal taken as a random variable. Results are reported as mean ± standard deviation (SD). A P-value <0.05 was considered statistically significant.
