Screening for Cefoxitin Resistant Isolates

As a screening method for AmpC production, Cefoxitin disks (30 μg) were used (13). Inhibition zones smaller than 18 mm were considered as indicators of potential AmpC production and these strains were subjected to further confirmatory testing.
