HLB asymptomatic citrus plants which were grown under greenhouse of Yunnan Agricultural University, Kunming, China was selected for application of different treatments. Four treatments (50% Hoagland solution, 50% Hoagland solution + B. subtilis L1-21, B. subtilis L1-21 and ddH2O) with three replications were applied to check the control effect on CLas titer in citrus plants. Leaf samples were collected before and after 20, 40, and 60 days of treatment. Leaf samples were placed in a cool box with ice and brought to the laboratory for isolation of endophytes. DNA extraction and real-time qPCR analysis was performed as mentioned above. Isolation of endophytes and pathogen abundance were checked through previous method as described above.
