4.2.2. General Synthetic Procedures for Amidoximes 2a-o

Each nitrile (1 mol eq.) was dissolved in dry methanol and potassium carbonate (1.5 mol eq.), and hydroxylamine hydrochloride (2.5 mol eq.) was added to the solution. The mixture was refluxed for 8 h in inert atmosphere. The reaction was concentrated under vacuum to remove MeOH, diluted with water, and extracted three times with CH₂Cl₂. The organic phases were dried over anhydrous Na₂SO₄, filtered, and concentrated under vacuum to obtain the correspondent amidoximes (yield 70–90%). The product was subjected to the next steps without any purification.
