The data used in our study were obtained from the public database The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO). A total of 313 tumor cases with 30 normal controls for OSCC and corresponding phenotype information were downloaded from TCGA. The correlations between AFAP1-AS1 expression and clinical characteristics were explored based on TCGA-OSCC datasets. The {"type":"entrez-geo","attrs":{"text":"GSE84805","term_id":"84805"}}GSE84805 dataset from GEO contained 12 paired OSCC tumors and normal tissue noncoding RNA profiling array data samples.
