The CTCAE v.4.0 for skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders is universally accepted in the field of radiation therapies to specifically evaluate the side effects of the radiotherapy. Within the original CTCAE v. 4.0 for skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders, a selection of 14 of 34 parameters was used in our study: dry skin, erythema multiforme, skin pain, fat atrophy, erythroderma, photosensitivity, pruritus, rash acneiform, skin atrophy, skin hyperpigmentation, telangiectasia, toxic epidermal necrolysis, rash maculo-papular, urticaria.18 The score range was 0–5, where the lower the score, the better the parameter’s assessment. A score of 0 corresponded to the complete absence of signs and/or symptoms in each assessed parameter.
