Primary hepatocyte isolation was conducted as previously described62. Bone marrow-derived macrophages (BMDMs) were generated as previously described43. Subsequently, cells were infected with LCMV at a MOI of 0.01 and harvested at the respective time points post infection for RNA isolation and real-time PCR analysis.
