ThGrin1KO were obtained by crossing SertCre/+Grin1flox/+ mice with Grin1flox/flox mice. Genotypes of mice were determined by PCR analysis of genomic DNA prepared from tail. PCR primer sets for SertCre were: 5′-ATT TGC CTG CAT TAC CGG TCG-3′ and 5′-CCC CAG AAA TGC CAG ATT ACG TAT ATC-3′. PCR primer sets for Grin1flox were: 5′-GTG AGC TGC ACT TCC AGA AG-3′, 5′-GAC TTT CGG CAT GTG AAA TG-3′, 5′-CTT GGG TGG AGA GGC TAT TC-3′, and 5′-AGG TGA GAT GAC AGG AGA TC-3′. PCR primer sets for Gadd45b −/− were 5′-GCA ACC CCA GTA ACT TTG GA-3′, 5′-CCT GCA GGA GAG AAG GAG TG-3′, and 5′-CTT CCA TTT GTC ACG TCC TG-3′.
